Special Dogs with Special Needs

Jackie is one of our special needs dogs.

So it goes like this: Most “normal” people don’t want to adopt a dog who is a senior and/or has health issues. Trust us, we know firsthand it’s not easy to lose a four-legged family member or cheap to pay vet bills. It’s a sad reality in the rescue world, but it is what it is.

We are, however, a rescue first and we have a huge heart for these special-needs babies. We have several beautiful babies who, well, aren’t babies any more, as well as more who have some health issues that require monthly medications. Some people put them down for this; we raise them up.
