I was dropped off at JRT rescue several years ago with Eli, my hubby and partner in terrier crime. We were breeder dogs and, much to the dismay of the man who used us for profit, were deemed “useless” because our babies were coming out “too small.” He had worse plans for our fate, but fortunately decided to call Mama Donna to come and get us. We are so fortunate she did. I have not been forced to have babies since then and I get to spend every day here with Eli and lots of other funny dogs.

I’m an older gal and I have a heart murmur that requires monthly medication. In addition, I am only adoptable as one-half of a pair with Eli, so most people pass us by. That’s OK, we really don’t mind since we like it here, but we know that my medicine costs a lot, as does our food and other vet bills. We understand if you’re not looking to adopt an aging couple in their golden years, but would definitely appreciate being sponsored.
