Gilbert’s Story

I am nothing short of fantastic. At least, that’s what they tell me here. I was at animal control in South Carolina and slated to be put down when a photo of my sweet self made its way to this rescue. I arrived with heartworm, which he is being treated for, and had just received a bad neuter surgery. I didn’t care that I didn’t feel well, though. I would let the vet and the people here do anything to me that needed to be done and not bat an eye. I trust them.

I am a young boy, only a year or two old, and I love other dogs and people. I haven’t been tested around cats, but I am more of a lover than a hunter, so I should be okay.
